【募集中】2025年度Journal of Radiation Research国際情報発信⼒強化のための掲載費⽤⽀援 Call for Applications Financial Support

本学会では、学会誌Journal of Radiation Research(JRR)誌における論⽂発表を通した国際情報発信⼒強化を図るために、学会員がJRR 誌に投稿し、2025年度中に掲載が確定した（acceptされた）論⽂に対して、掲載費⽤の⽀援（＝掲載費を学会からOxford University Pressへ直接⽀払い、著者からの⽀払いを免除）を⾏っています。⽀援可能な論⽂の総数は、年間で10〜15編程度の⾒込みです。（2025年度中の為替レートの動向と経費の執⾏状況ならびに残額の⾒込みを踏まえて、⽀援数の上限を決定し、定数に達し次第、募集を締め切ります。）対象は、40歳以下の若⼿研究者を第⼀著者とする原著論⽂（Regular paper、Short communication）、および、全ての年代の研究者を第⼀著者とする総説（Review）です。掲載確定後、掲載費⽤⽀援の申請をいただいた順（先着順）に採択しますが、ほぼ同時に申請をいただいた場合には、以下の1)〜3)の論⽂を優先して採択する⽅針です。なお、科研費などの公的研究費で既に⽀払い処理が済んでいる場合、あるいは、既に⽀払い⼿続きを進めている場合には、本支援の対象外といたしますので、ご注意ください。

＜優先的に採択される論⽂＞
1) 若⼿研究者（40歳以下）を第⼀著者とする論⽂（⼤学院⽣を第⼀著者とする学位取得のための論⽂を含む）
2) 2023年度以降の⽇本放射線影響学会の各賞および第66・67・68回⼤会の優秀演題発表賞の受賞者を第⼀著者とする論⽂
3) 過去に『JRR掲載費⽤⽀援』への採択歴のない第⼀著者による論⽂

なお、今回の支援にあたり、本支援への申請希望者および採択者には、論文投稿時から採択決定後にかけて、いくつか実施いただかなくてはならないステップ（以下の①、②、⑤）がありますことを予めご了承ください。
①＜論文投稿時（revised manuscriptの投稿時を含む）＞JRR Editorial Managerの投稿画面Additional Informationの設問で本掲載費用支援の利用希望があることを選択してください。
②＜論⽂の掲載確定後＞すみやかに、申請書類（Word）に必要事項を記⼊し、acceptされたことを通知したJRR編集⻑からのメール（PDF）を添えて、財務担当副理事⻑の細⾕紀⼦（nhosoya(at)m.u-tokyo.ac.jp）までメールでお送りください。
③申請を受け付けた旨を財務担当副理事長からメールで通知します。
④審査の後、支援への採択の可否について、財務担当副理事長からメールで通知します。
⑤ ④の後、採択された著者には、採択論文の原稿の「Funding」欄に「This publication was supported by JSPS KAKENHI Grant Number JP25HP2001.」と追記していただき、速やかに編集室（radres.oup.ea(at)straive.com）にご提出いただきます。入稿後、論文ライセンスの選択を行い、著者校正を行っていただきます。校正の際、必ず上記のFunding欄への追記が行われていることを採択者自身でご確認ください。本掲載費用支援の原資が科研費であることを踏まえ、必ずご対応いただきますよう、よろしくお願いいたします。

To All Members of The Japanese Radiation Research Society

To strengthen the global presence and impact of the Journal of Radiation Research (JRR) by encouraging the submission of high-quality papers, the Japanese Radiation Research Society will provide financial support for article processing charge (APC) for articles accepted in JRR during FY2025. Under this program, the Society will pay APC directly to Oxford University Press, exempting authors from any payment.
We anticipate supporting approximately 10–15 papers this fiscal year. The final number will depend on exchange rate fluctuations, budget execution, and remaining funds. Applications will close once the maximum number of supported papers is reached.

Eligibility
• Original Articles (Regular Papers, Short Communications) with a first author who is an early-career researcher (40 years old or younger).
• Review Articles with a first author of any age.
Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis after acceptance. If multiple applications are received at nearly the same time, priority will be given to papers meeting the following criteria:

Priority Selection Criteria
1. Papers with a first author who is an early-career researcher (40 years old or younger), including graduate students submitting work for degree completion.
2. Papers authored by recipients of JRRS awards (FY2023 onward) or Outstanding Presentation Awards at the 66th, 67th, or 68th Annual Meetings.
3. Papers by first authors who have not previously received support under the “JRR APC Support” program.
Please note: Papers for which payment has already been processed using public research funds (e.g., JSPS KAKENHI) or for which payment procedures are underway are not eligible.

Application Process
Applicants and selected authors must complete the following steps:
• At submission (including revised manuscripts): In the JRR Editorial Manager system, under “Additional Information,” indicate your intention to apply for this APC support.
• After acceptance: Complete the application form (Word) and email it, along with the acceptance notification from the JRR Editor-in-Chief (PDF), to Vice President for Finance, Noriko Hosoya (nhosoya(at)m.u-tokyo.ac.jp).
• You will receive confirmation of receipt by email.
• After review, you will be notified of the outcome by email.
• If accepted: Add the following statement to the “Funding” section of your accepted manuscript:
“This publication was supported by JSPS KAKENHI Grant Number JP25HP2001.”
Submit the updated manuscript promptly to the editorial office (radres.oup.ea(at)straive.com). After submission, select the license and complete author proofs. During proofreading, confirm that the Funding statement has been correctly added. Compliance with this requirement is mandatory, as the support is funded by JSPS KAKENHI.
